Jack Hammer has been single handedly ripping it up for quite some time. Now this IPA, has spawned four Hammer Head off-springs. Monk Hammer is the first of our super-charge hyped up hybrids.

Belgian yeast and American hops unite on a cardinal scale. Volumes of grapefruit, bow your head for a wave of spicy, fruity yeast character, then cross yourself for the bitterest of bitter finishes.

Boks på Humle og Bier. Aroma humle, sitrus, karamell. Utseende uklar strågul med hvitt skum. Smak humle sitrus, karamell, grape, fin fylde og frisk fruktighet, bitterhet siger på i ettersmaken, noe syrlighet underveis. Veldig godt øl

PREZENTACJA: zamglone z pyłem i farfoclami w toni, jasnozłote, skromna piana opada do strzępków, które w większości osiadają na szkle jako krążki;
AROMAT: delikatny - owocowy, rześki, kwiatowy, po chwili aromat słodki i lekko alkoholowy jak w IIPA;
ODCZUCIE: ciało niskie ku średniemu, dość gładkie, średnio nasycone;
SMAK: marakuja, cukier, silna po osłabnięciu długa goryczka;
OGÓLNIE: fajne piwo, bardzo pijalne z idealną silną ale nie przesadzoną goryczką, w zasadzie jest w pół drogi między IPA i IIPA.

(Can, 330ml) Fizzy golden body with a smooth white head. Very nice strong hoppy aroma with lots of grapefruit, lemon, mango. Medium body, decent carbonation. Bitter flavour with pine, grass, wheat and crab apple, with a quite dry finish.

It’s weird, cos this really does taste like someone’s poured half an American IPA into half a traditional Belgian ale. The result is quite delectable. It’s just a shame that it cost FIVE EUROS FIFTY for one can (2 euro ’corkage’ charge - stop laughing at the back there!). The most expensive 330ml of liquid I’ve yet to consume. Shame it tastes so good. Brewdog should release a Street Punk IPA, a slightly shitter but still delicious IPA, made for the true punks, not for the boys from marketing who are feeling rebellious on a Thursday evening.
