COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
And this time it is all about the beer, and the beer is awesome! Gone are the 200+ IBUs which brought grown men to tears! Our new Nanny State is 0.5% ABV and focuses on being a great drink as opposed to a great publicity ploy. This beer is now focussed on getting all that is good about BrewDog into a practically alcohol free format. It is a West Coast inspired pale ale with a difference!

The beer has 45 IBUS and is brewed with centennial, amarillo, columbus, cascade and simcoe and intensively dry-hopped with centennial and amarillo. The backbone is provided by 8 different types of speciality malts with only 87 kilos of malt used in a 20HL batch (our Punk IPA uses 450 kilos in 20HL).

Aromat: cukierkowy toffi-owocowy, kwiatowy, po zabełtaniu warzywa i masło;
Smak: najpierw woda a potem poza goryczą nic nie ma w smaku, lekko kwiatowy posmak;
Odczucie: puste, zerowo nasycone;
Ogólnie: jakbym tonik z aromatem pił, słaaaaaaaaabe.

Pours dark brown with a short lived white head. Classic IPA aromas of citrus. Tastes surprisingly good for such a low ABV beer, but is let down by being too watery... nicest low alcohol beer I’ve tried though.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Looks and smells like an IPA and initial taste is hoppy citrus and a bit floral. Not too bad and will come in handy on occasions but let down by being too watery. Decent attempt at a low alcohol ale though.

Bottle, pours woody brown with a white head. Hoppy aroma, tangerine, weeds, initally relatively full mouthfeel, but very quickly turns very watery. Excellent low alcohol beer, but its not the real thing.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. Humlig doft med lite bröd och bränt socker. Lätt och torr med liten beska.

Light ruby colour, beige head. Aroma of hops, caramel. Taste is light bitter. Thin watery texture, light body, average to fizzy carbonation. Very good for a low alcohol beer.

Flaska systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad åt det mörkare hållet med smutsvitt skum. Hulmefrisk doft som drar åt citrus och framförallt barr. Kavring. Smaken domineras av en kraftig beska men lite barr och citrus slår igenom.

0,33l bottle. 2015. Dark, amber, off-white head. Lovely fresh hoppy aroma. Might this be the first non-alcoholic beer that really kicks ass? The aroma alone is superb, or is it just that I’ve been drinking solely non-alcoholic beers so far in 2015? The taste is fresh, hoppy and slightly roasty. Astringent, but watery and slightly sweet to soften the IBUs. Pretty decent.

Clear orange-amber color with medium head, lots of small bubbles on the side of the glass. The fruit and resins of aroma hops are very present in the nose, but there’s already a lack of malt body and residual sweetness noticeable. Taste is pure hops, bitter, with a bitter finish and really no malt sweetness at all. Medium carbonation. A nice project for a hop juice :D This would pair up well with some Munster cheese, my dad claims.
