COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This chili mango IPA lures you in with intense juicy fruit before sending you reeling with a habanero knockout punch.

This dry, light- bodied IPA has devastating bitterness backed up with spicy heat, firing your tastebuds on all cylinders - citrus, chili and resin, on light biscuit malt. The mango adds a sweet, almost soothing layer, which balances the incredible intensity of this twisted India pale ale.

Ingredients: water, barley, mango, chilli, corriander seeds, hops, yeast.

Can shared at a tasting at avrashi’s place. Bought at Beer Shop Athens, February 2017. Clear-to-hazy blond. Bubblegum and candy aroma with some raspberry and banana. Sweet strawberry ice cream taste with chili spiciness of cayenne pepper. Creamy texture, spicy finish, mild fizz.

Clear, golden colored, medium+ white frothy head, nice lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of some malt, mostly juicy mango, tropical fruity, some citrus, some spices and bit chili. Taste is medium sweet malt, juicy mango and tropical fruity, very nice start, but then the chili and spiciness take over with moderate to strong heat, medium bitterness, dry finish, lasting spicy chili. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. I really enjoyed the juiciness at the start... would be better without the chili or with a very small amount. (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Can at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours pale yellow. Aroma is mango, chili, but also dirty. Body is medium, but mostly just hot, hot and hot. Soft carbonation and lightly sweet. Long hot palate, still fruity. Good, but oh boy, this is weird.

Can. Slightly unclear golden with a medium sized, dense off-white head. Aroma has pale malt, citric fruit, light mango and green pepper. Flavor is smooth pale malt, mild citric and mango and lots of chili. Medium body and burning hot chili aftertaste. Besides the obvious chili thing, this beer is smooth and balanced but totally dominated by burning chili. It’s unbalanced for sure, but not unpleasant at all, I actually like it a lot. Far better than many other chili type infused beer.

Can at home in London / sourced from the offie on Mare Street. Pours clear orange-hold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds green pepper, a little mango, orange. Light sweet flavour with strong, aggressive chili pepper, faint grass, pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more harsh chili burn, orange rind, dry pale bread. Too spicy overall.

Tap at Koumin. Lemony, tropical, mango nose, juicy, with biscuits. Sweet tropical fruit flavor with extremely hot peppers. Hate it. Hard to drink.

33cl bb09/2017, Geers (mistaken Mikkeller quickgrab). - Very hard to rate, this *merciless companion piece to an already *brutal and *ruthless Chili Hammer /tap at Borefts 2016). Truly beers for our times...Pours quite satisfyingly golden and smells like sweet frehs mango/maracuya fruit marmelade with pickled green pepper chunks, a metallic frame slowly rising up from it... First semisip is quite pleasing and fruity like dried mango slices, as well. Then the relentless spice hits, opening the tastebuds for a chock it does not recover from unless you let it sit and warm to open towards room temperature: green chili spice, hacking into the palate and the tongue - followed by near-palate numbing IPA resins. No room for coriander seed or dryhop sutleties. - Was very put off by it first 20mins, then warmed to it along with the aromas in the glass. Hence the lukewarm score...

Great aroma, great graphics on the can... I dont get the whole spicy thing. Initial taste is promising but miliiseconds later an extreme spiceness covers everything else as soon as you taste it. Maybe its a personal thing but I dont get it
