A black stout that taste incredible for having such a high alcohol percentage. A unique taste that starts smooth and ends with a berry flavor. Nice that it isn’t oily or thick on the tongue. Almost no head. It cost me 12 EURO but had to try it since I’m a Mikkeller, Nogne-O, and a Brew Dog fan. An overall superb collaboration. Still not sure if I want to pay that price again, but would like to drink it again. bursprak (3219) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle @ Voldby. Horizontal with the 2 other blends. Pours jet black with a smallish beige head. Nose has a mix of red berries, chocolate, roasted malts and sweet vanilla. The high ABV is very well hidden. Taste has a pleasant mix of light tart berries and sweet chocolate and vanilla notes. Reminds me a lot of a nice sherry. By far the best one out of the three. 33cl bottle served in a Brewdog glass at Brewdog Birmingham. Pours a thick black liquid with a very small head which disappears almost immediately. Little to no carbonation but acceptable for the style. Taste is upfront coffee with a huge bitterness. The sweetness from the fruity notes (tasting notes say Cranberries and Jasmine) but these delicate flavours cannot overpower the huge burnt malt taste present. Overall a good beer but far from the best in it’s range and at £19 for 33cl it really ought to. Show it a Black Albert or Bourbon County and it wouldn’t know what to do with itself. hawanna (3316) - Freising, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2014

Bottle at home shared with our moobs. Poured a black colour with a dark brown head. Aroma has lots of wow, dark chocolate, soy sauce and Chinese food, coffee, vanilla, smoke. Flavour some sweetness and alcohol but not overpowering, coffee, chocolate, aniseed. Some warmth from the alcohol in the finish. Totally up my street, loved it.
