A strong ale, brewed with guarana, Californian poppy, kola nut and Scottish heather honey. A conspiracy of trans-continental ingredients infused with some devastatingly BrewDog imaginative thinking.

Poured from a bottle. The appearance was great, looked deep amber in the glass. Generous head. Flavour caramel and a very toasted feel. Not much fruityness happening.

I remember this well from when Brewdog Edinburgh opened. I’m glad they retired it, as it smelt like bad homebrew, and tasted much the same. New dogma is much better!

brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Smells like stale hops. Minimal contribution from the adjuncts, bitter and murky taste. Not awful. Not good.

3.4
dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Bottle from a long time ago. Pours brown/red with off white head, thin and rimming. Nose is caramel and astringent. Floral caramel and small bitter.

Bomber. Sweet raisin and caramel malt aroma. Pours copper colored with very little head. Taste is sweet raisin with some honey and finishes smooth with subtle peaty notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2013
From bottle, courtesy of dpjuart. Rye, green peppercorns, floral with pineapple, lemongrass, allspice, and sassafras. Deep coppery amber clear with foamy off-white lacing head. Starts and stays spicy with herbal notes. Smooth and sweet with lasting herbal and bitter finish. Fairly clean after.

shrubber85 (11394) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle. Honey, cherry/raisin and toffee malt aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet raisin, toffee malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Pretty good.

3.3
DeliriumT (537) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2013
Pours black with generous head. Aroma is deep caramel and toffee. Flavour has a good kick of honey over a fairly full bodied scotch ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.4
Nische (2228) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 18, 2013
Pours a deep, copper red colour with a thick head. Sweet aroma with toffee and honey. Same goes for flavour. Hoppy and spicy finish.

3.3

Bottle. Brown bread, honey, vinous fruit - almost cherry like, and some light alcohol. Deep copper with a moderate off-white head. Sweet brown bread, caramel, and spicy herbal bitter flavor. Medium body, very soft carbonation.
