Tangy dark malts, just a trace of peat. Tangy dark fruits and spicy bitterness. Mellow fruity whiskey. Light dry spicy finish. Has aged very well. 3.6
Maroon color with a thin edge head and scant lacing.
Aroma of smoke, roasted malts and caramel, not necessarily in that order.
Flavor of peat and earth, burnt espresso, and a dry, bitter finish.
Definitely worth trying, an interesting and complex beer.
