Lingering fruity, subdued sweet and vanilla fruity finish. Ungstrup (37682) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2009
Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, alcohol, wood, and whiskey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, wood, and whiskey, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2009
Bottled (as Paradox Speyside (Batch 11), had in London in August). Deep ambery brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is whiskybarrel, some mild plum, raisins, berries, mild earth and fruityness. Flavour is fruits, some wood, caramel malts, mild liquorice, some slight vanilla and also a very sweet alcohol stinging note. Probably the sweetest BrewDog Paradox I’ve had so far. 8th September 2008. Slightly marmite nose. Roasty malt and a little marmite in the start. Smooth and a little spirity with a subtle sweet undertone. The sherry influence is not at all obvious, more’s the shame! cgarvieuk (24542) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 17, 2009
Bottle at home ... deep brown red ... thin tan head ... lovely chocolate nose ... deep roast ... light smokey ... lots of roast ... quite a lot of whiskey in linger... again chocolate ... easily drinkable. Oakes (17699) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 18, 2008
