Awesome bourbon and coffee aroma. Tastes good with nice flavors of charred bourbon barrel, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon spice. Very nice, just wish it had a not more body/thickness.

September 2017 - Theydon Bois' 20K Tasting at One Canada Square. Bottle thanks to Scopey. As 'BrewDog Paradox Speyside (Batch 005)', 10%, BB 2009 – so around 10 years old. Pours black with a red hue, foamy brown head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is papery, little oxidised, some whisky, flat pepsi. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste is cola, papery, little oxidised and spicy. Feeling the age. (5-4-5-4-13=3.1)
October 2017 - Bottle share at Magic Dave's Leaving Tea Party. Thanks to the cad. For whatever reason, this bottle has held up significantly better than the other we tried. Less oxidised with better body. Tasting very good. (7-4-8-4-15=3.8)
12oz bottle pours an oily brown/black with some clumpy, white head. Nose doesn't have a ton of Speyside, thankfully, malt, sugar, marzipan, chocolate, nutella. Flavor has chocolate, nutes, mild booze, caramel, toffee. The Speyside has thankfully faded out. Finishes medium bodied. mR_fr0g (14028) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2017
Bottle shared on Level 42 for Cloin's 20K Tasting, 13/09/2017. Paul for this one. A jet black / mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose dark tan, beige head. ARoma is red berries, charcoal, cranberries, mint. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody, vanilla, jammy fruit, fruit cake and raisin. Little age. Palate is semi sweet sticky, lowish carboantion, little papery. Decent for the age. 10 years old. Woody finish Leighton (22821) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle shared in London on cloin's 20k - cheers! Pours clear, deep brown with a small, creamy tan head. Definitely some age in the nose, old wood, dusty cocoa, burnt cardboard. Mediums weet flavour with a lot of oxidation, some alcohol, faint ash. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, with hints of toasted toffee, more booze, a little vanilla, more strong oxidation. Definitely showing its age. Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, red berry ripple, spice, chocoalte, mellow whisky barrel, light soy sauce.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising kick of booze.
Has held up very well.

Nose is full of of nice whisky, some cocoa, hints of coffe.
Carbonation is low. Might be of old age.
Palate is medium some whisky, coffe. Not a powerhouse in any way but still good.
Would be more interesting fresh. Habanero (4911) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2015
Bottled. Pours black with a small, tan head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey and alcohol. Sweet flavor, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Full bodied, oily to syrupy texture and soft carbonation. A powerfull and excellent Impy. ★★★★ alexsdad06 (11230) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - NOV 4, 2014
Bottle at home from backlog notes. Pours dark brown to black in color with a thin beige film. The aroma and flavor have strong barrel character, but not as bad as the other treatments and I still get some of the character from the beer, roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, wood, scotch whiskey, more drinkable.
