Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, May 2008. Orange gold. Bitter hoppy rather than aromatic. Lots of lemon in the flavour. I thought the balance was a bit off-kilter. As harrisoni said, a touch (too) astringent. Not one of Brewdog’s finest.

Pale gold with a good white head. Decent hoops, lots of rubber and earth. Very soapy in the flavour. More rubber. Far from the best BrewDog.
Cask, Loughborough Fest 08. Bright gold with a small head. Aromas are grapefruit and very bitter green hops. Some lemon and apricot. Flavours are lemon and pine with associated bitterness. Woody and dry with a long aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2008 Cask, Covfest ’08. Gold and faintly misty. Distantly leafy snout. Assertive grapefruity hopping, Earl Grey with clinging dunked biscuit afters. Quite tasty, but one-dimensional. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2008
