Bottle, Golden with a small head. Clear appearance and slightly sour with a trace of fruit. Not really sure if I liked it at first but gradually developed a liking for it. Quite unusual. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2013

Bright clear orange amber beer, short lived white head. Nose of raspberry and faint whisky. Crispy dry palate. Tangy dry raspberry with a touch of whisky bringing up the rear. Dry finish, Mild bitter linger and super mild whisky in the aftertaste.
Deep golden color out of the bottle with a small white head. Light raspberry nose with Belgian yeast notes. Lots of raspberry flavors, some oak, something bitter and a little sour, and some doughy yeast. There is a lot more alcohol flavor in here than the 4.9% abv would indicate, which I assume is the Scotch cask. Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2012
33cl bottle after around a year in the cellar. Pours rose tinted gold with thin white head - very light lacing. Aroma is subtle raspberry, some light oakiness, vanilla, slight yeast complexity. Taste is primarily of the Belgian yeast complexity and hop bitterness with the sweetness if the fruit & malt coming after; interesting bit of light funk and pleasant oak notes. Pretty light going all round - nice little experiment. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 9, 2012
The pour is just about orange with a white head. The raspberry certainly comes through on the aroma, but not much else does. A hint of oak, a light tartness, and some straw, but that’s about the extent of it. Maybe a little malt sweetness. The palate is a touch watery, but the raspberry flavor is quite pronounced. Lots of fruit which provides a hint of tartness. There is a little bit of grass, straw, and oak with a hint of sweet bready malt. No real whiskey character to the beer at all. Really light on the palate as well.
