Bottle at home. Pours amber, nose is tart berry, light smoke, taste is juicy and fruity, dry.

Bottle at a recent bottle share... Poured clear golden with a thin, off-white head. Biggest component here was berry and fruit esters along with peat and scotch tones. Some bitterness and sweetness. But again, mainly fruits and whiskey all over the place.

bottle... another horrendous brewdog beer that is up there with zephyr... ugly medium pink, watery, almost no head... smells like bandaids, black sharpie, a little peat and smoke... one of the worst tasting beers I’ve ever had, drinking a bandaid, chemicals, disgusting

15th June 2010 rate Free sample to accompany my AB02 at the CP&K launch (thanks Tom). It pours a crazy red-amber with a quickly dissipating head. The nose is ripe raspberry, smoke from the whisky and some resin. The taste is smoke, peat, concentrated raspberry sweetness, resin, hop-bite, wood and some sourness, with a dry finish. A crazy mash-up of raspberry, smoke and hop. Perhaps a little bit too sweet and rough around the edges for me.

Bottle @Chris O. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly smoky raspberry aroma. Sweetish malty fruity raspberry flavor. Has a fruity malty smoky raspberry finish.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is rather fruity, peachy and mango hoppy mixed raspberry and with an underlying whiskey note. Whiskey smoke and raspberry fruity, slight hoppy fruity and bitterness coming through. Ends mixed raspberry and smoked/ash - strange.

Bottle at ChrisO "I’m Trying to see the Stool" pre GBBF2010 tasting. Russet colour with a thin beige head. Islay IPA aroma. Just not my thing. Reminded me of the BrewDog Storm. Just not my thing.

Bottle 33cl. @ ChrisOs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2010.

[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, medicine - islay whisky, raspberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, raspberry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100731]

[email protected] Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF tasting. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is raspberry, fruits, some wood and mild notes of peat. Flavour is a mix of quite much the same in a very nice balance.

sm89walt (2082) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 10, 2010
330ml bottle @ Chriso’s pre-GBBF ’Raise the Roof’ Tasting ’10. A ruddy amber beer with a fine, creamy beige head. Oaky and tart raspberries. Some of the whiskey peatiness from the cask but the Hardcore gets lost in the process. I like raspberries, I like Hardcore & I don’t mind whiskey but together it’s a bit too jumbled. Finishes with a pithy, bittersweet fruitiness. Relatively short finish, light to medium body but crisp and spritzy on the tongue.
