This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2018 Hit the drum and get Punky. Smooth citrus with a refreshing hoptastic taste that mellows to a gentle bitter aftertaste. The yardstick in American style IPA’s in my opinion. Nailed it BrewDog, nailed it.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Combination of grassy, flowery and tropical hops. Starting with a pretty smooth hopbitterness, getting sharper towards the end. A bit resinous just nefore the finish. My favorite IPA some years ago in my pre-Ratebeer period. Still a nice one, although I've tasted better ones in the last years.

Han pegado un bajón de calidad importante. La primera Punk IPA que probé estaba buenísima! Pero Brewdog ha preferido vender rentabilidad frente a calidad. Una lástima! Pero aún así no me canso de beberla

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/28/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, white grape, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, white grape, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, white grape, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.6%. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Nice balanced mix of juicy, vibrant, and dank/earthy hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours hazy golden with decent white head. Intense hoppy aroma. Flavour is hops, some citrus, with a pleasant bitterness. Quite good.

Drugie podejście do legendy Brewdog'a. Uprzedzając fakty, pierwszym razem (jakiś rok temu) trafiłem na zepsute piwo - pominę szczegóły, było mega słabo. Ale do rzeczy - piękny wygląd, klarowne, złociste z mega bogatą pianą. W aromacie głównie nuty żywiczne, gdzieś tam jakieś cytrusy się błąkają. W smaku zasadniczo podobnie, żywicznie i goryczkowo.

This is currently my favourite beer that is widely available in cans and bottles. It is the benchmark by which I judge all other beers and few come close. Just about perfect.
