Batch 213, bottle, awesome bitter aroma, nice hoppsfloral, grass, citrus, golden, clear, rocky head, frothy, very bitter, medium sweetness, good balanced, full body, slick feel, thick feel, very nice IPA Mortlach (2537) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 7, 2011
07/06/2011 330ml can. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Buonissima IPA, tra le più gradevoli da bere. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 5, 2011

B, Copenhagen. Slightly hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, caramel, some citrus and mild crisp maltyness. Flavour is very similar in a pleasant balance. Also had it a week after from a bottle from systembolaget, and the bottled one was much more harsh and lacked most of the tropical fruits.
Much better than the old version (which I never really liked). Nice bright yellow, citrusy, hoppy. Quite dry. Refreshing. Quite nicely balanced, but lacking something mind-blowing, I feel. Not that it’s not good, of course it is, but it lacks the sort of ’ta-dah!’ moment that I was expecting. IPA Is Dead Bramling X is still my go-to Brewdog IPA, nicer, crisper, hoppier than Punk. hirigalzkar (3324) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 2, 2011
Bottle. I like this new version of the Punk IPA, its cleaner and more drinkable compared to the first one. The strange aftertaste from the original version is gone. This one is a lot more fruity, with nice notes of mild grape and some lovely goosberries from the Nelson Sauvin. Medium bitterness. Quite "thin" for an IPA, but that makes it more drinkable. Nice summer beer.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden, small head. Peachy grapefruit. Dryish with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Lots of salty grapefruit. Long bitterness. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 29, 2011
Draught at The Local Taphouse (Sydney, Australia). Now this is my type of IPA. On tap, I could drink it all night. The balance is just right and combination of the US pine and NZ tropical fruit is spot on. johnnnniee (4488) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Pours a clear solid deep golden color with a full two finger creamy bright white head that sticks itself to everything on the way down. First pop of the cap I thought I smelled sewage coming from the bottle, but after I poured into my glass I couldn’t find that aroma again thank you jebus. The nose gives off lots of spicy pine, a hint of lemon, light caramel, sweet candied sugary malt with a bit of a grainy edge. The taste is bitter, pine and resinous bitterness consume and conquer every taste bud I can muster. Slightly sweet caramel and malt try their best to balance, but wither under the sword of the almighty Humulus. Relatively dry finish with a lingering resinous bitterness. Light to medium body, resinous, dry mouthfeel, medium level of carbonation. This is a decent IPA, I would have loved some more aroma hops personally as I think the aroma is bit lacking. No shortage of bitter hops in this brew.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2015 Can. Hazy gold, large white head. Aroma is tropical, with strawberry bubblegum, gooseberry, grapefruit, grass clippings, cat’s piss. A little thin and lacking much malt presence let alone character but lacks the sweetness of the old version - an OK swap. Bitter finish is quite brief and after a while there is a touch of sweetness. Pretty good.
Can. Vibrant fruit aromas, no cat, some peach, pale malt is nice but barely registers. Maybe overclean, but refreshing and lively. Would like just a little more bitterness. [3.5]
Reliably good in cans. No great character from the malt side of things but vibrant hops and a fair bit lower in alcohol than more or less agreeable alternatives.
