Experimental version, courtesy of Glenn at Alvinne. Thanks Glenn!
Bright and clear yellow/orange color with a large white head that settles quickly to reveal moderate lacing.
Aroma starts with sulphur, which clears rapidly and reveals notes of sour apple and malt.
Flavor begins with sour apple and progresses through floral hoppiness to a bitter finish.
Nice example of the style, more subtle than American versions. Worth trying. cgarvieuk (25391) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 27, 2009

Light dry and crisp. Lots of fresh hop. Grapefruit bitterness, tangy Belgian yeast. Finishes crisp and dry with a bitter aftertaste. Refreshing.
Keg at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a small, white foam head. Nose holds some subtle, spicy yeast, doughy malts and hints of straw and grass. Flavor is light to medium sweet and the bitterness is mellow. There are plenty of bready malts in here, perhaps enhanced by the light yeast notes. Also some toast and light grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Crisp and lightly sticky to finish with more bready, lightly doughy malts, faintly toasty, with mild spicy yeast, light alcohol and toasty sugar. Slightly dry in the end. Nothing special, this. Theydon_Bois (20214) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2014
Bottle at home, big thanks to Fin for digging this one out of the archive for me, 03/11/14.
Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering.
Nose is bitter orange, Belgian yeast esters, light oxidised notes but not too off putting, straw, mandarin.
Taste comprises candied fruit peel, bitter orange, more Belgian yeast, lemon rind.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness and Belgian yeast licks.
Decent enough, has held up fairly well. harrisoni (19023) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2009
On tap at White Horse, Parson’s Green. Definitely an estery yeast aroma. Definitely Punk in the mouth. Not a bad mix, a peachy grapefruit IPA. Probably the best thing at this festival rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2013
Draught at De Klomp, Linköping. Clear golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Yeasty spicy aroma, grassy, citrus, grapefruit, floral notes, some pine. Yeasty flavor, hop, grassy, herbal, spicy, earthy notes, grapefruit, citrus, some rubber notes. Decent, but I prefer the original Punk IPA.
