Bottle at Mesandsim’s wedding. It pours light orange, with a thin fizzy white head and moderate carbonation. The nose is orange, resin, wood, varnish, herbal, nut and ginger. The taste is resin, wood, astringent, hay, grass, orange zest, tangy mango, pineapple, herbal and mint, with a smooth dry-bitter finish. The hardcore IPA character is obvious. A wedding ale that stands out from the crowd! MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2011
KØ11. Mild grassy aroma. Also sweetish, like some American hops. Good balance, though. Dark amber colour. Rye mouthfeel. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
Bottle. Pale gold, spicy flavour. Lots of malt, some soot and smoke. Aniseed, white pepper. JohnRMurdoch (4883) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 19, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2012 Bottle from The BrewDog Online Store. Cloudy reddish amber brown colour with a good head. Fruity hoppy aroma & flavour with strong lingering bitter sweet hoppy aftertaste. Quite novel & good but not world class. crosamich (433) - Twin Falls, Idaho, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Herbal, citrus nose. Generally, I like their IPAs so this fits in with that. Can’t tell if I get the extra additions from this one. Guess my wife will find out in a few minutes ;) I may get a whiff of the herbs added as more piney compared to their regular IPAs which serve as the base. A gimmick? of course. You have to know that when buying it. Overpriced? yes, even as a gimmick.

Bottle. Orange color. Grapefruit and melon in the aroma. Hint of herbs. Spicy, almost medecinal flavor next to the ripe melon, pineapple and grapefruit. Hint of mint. Very nice, especially the aroma. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JUN 17, 2011
Keg at BrewDog. Nice herbal citrus nose. Slight medicinal taste, toffee malt with lots and lots of hop front, massive herbs too. Medium hop finish. Ok, but overrated. finol (3392) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2011
Bottle from the BrewDog webshop.
Pours dark amber with a offwhite head.
Very spicy taste of ginger and cacao, the hops saves the posibility to drink it... Rasmus40 (20922) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2011
Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, yeasty, herbal and rather hoppy - citrus and peach. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 270511 mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 15, 2011
Bottle from Tripphop on the BA. Slightly haze copper with a medium sized white head that quickly fades. Orange and grapefruit are present in the aroma, but some sort of herb notes are huge in this beer. The hell is that? Taste is orange, caramel, a slight bitterness, and some pepperiness. My notes have the question, "Is this what pachouli tastes like?" Medium to light bodied. This beer is just like a few of my first dates. I have no boner, and I’m slightly disappointed.
Rating #400 for real this time.
