@CBF. Pours beautiful deep copper ambwr with a nice off white head leaving lace. Aroma is cat bin, piny, fruity and malty. Flavor is sweet, piny, citric, caramel and bitter. Very drinkable. Finishes sweet and bitter.

My 4000th rating. 330ml bottle batch 001Best before 12/05/12. Nose is resin and toffee with hints of spice. Clear orange with a medium lightly lacing off white head. Flavor is very lightly bitter with toffee sweetness. Still pretty good after 4+ years. Of course it’s more s barleywine now.

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... A pale, clear, golden pour with an off-white head. Solid nose with some hops and other spicing. Moderate texture in the mouthful with clean hop flavors. Sweet tart-like malts created a candied sweetness for balancing. Grapefruit with earthy herbal, almost tea-like qualities.

Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is standard brewdog ipa, can notice the base beers. Flavour is base beer but then less. Not the most fresh bottle.

goozen (4143) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange coloured brew for an wedding occasion. Kind of fruity, citrus taste and hints of some chocolate i think. Also theire famous bitter appearance, quite original choise for an royal wedding thing.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a clear and copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with citrus. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of hops. The palate is sweetness and bitterness. Overall a good beer. [Rating #2300]

Thanks to Mike for this... medium peach with a light tan head, watery... the nose is light pine at first, then you are attacked with sharp biting herbs that is horrendous, vegetal chili peppers.... the same gross finish starts the taste but its not as strong, weird herbal notes just kill this... not worth ticking

finol (3487) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2011
Bottle from the BrewDog webshop. Pours dark amber with a offwhite head. Very spicy taste of ginger and cacao, the hops saves the posibility to drink it...

Bottle. A little too much of everything really. No balance. No drinkability. But I guess you can’t go completly wrong with this ammount of hops.

Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Murky orange-brown body, thin cream head. Round, caramely nose, herbal, with lots of sherry. Herbal, bitter body with oxidized hops, caramel, and rosemary-like notes. Mediocre.
