COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first small-batch canned release of 2017 is hot off the press and looks an absolute picture thanks to the amazing custom can artwork from the incredible guys at The Red Dress. We wanted to produce something of true decadence, so have packed into the recipe everything that we could think of to raise the body and make a smooth, truly redolent deep stout.

The four key additions exaggerate the mouthfeel and work with the blend of malts, oats and wheat to leave you with a beer that is best enjoyed on those dark, early-spring evenings when the weather is yet to break and the cold still seeps in around the door jambs. The result? In a word, opulence. The aromas start with cocoa and vanilla but it is the flavour that really holds the key to our latest small-batch release. Chocolate milkshake, roasty espresso and mellow vanilla blend into one in a smooth, full-bodied beer that is rich, deep and rewarding.

Sweet, roasted hints of smokiness. Lots of chocolate banana taste and marshmallows.

Can. Black with a medium head. Chocolate and coffee dominates.Smooth and powerful. Can design is a bit weird and frightening which I think is deliberate. Worth trying.

330ml can. Pitch black with one finger, quickly fading beige-brown head. Aroma is syrup, oversweetened coffee, liqorice, light soy sauce and light roasted malts. Taste is syrup, liqorice and bitter burnt malts. Medium mouthfeel, medium-strong carbonation for the style and burnt liqorice aftertaste.

Jet black, small white head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa and vanilla bean. Taste is of dark chocolate, fresh coffee and dark fruits. Has a very nice aftertaste of liquorice and treacle with a creamy mouth feel. Very smooth texture. A well balanced stout. At £4.50 it’s on the steep side, but I would give it a go again even at that price.

06-AUG-2017, can @home, from Systembolaget Hansa Malmö. Black with a very nice tan head that unfortunately dies within seconds leaving almost nothing. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet roast, chocolate, vanilla. Fortunately not that lactic milky stuff that I do not like. Sweet, bitter, soft carbonation. Very nice drink.

Coffee, chocolate and a lot of metal in the scent. The taste is a little coffee, a little chocolate with pepper or something strong in. No good bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth long while. Believe this beer is defective. It tastes shady. Even alcohol in taste. Can 0,33. Pours black with large off-white head, nice lacing. Cocoa, vanille, laktose, some coffee, faint caramel. Full body oily texture.
