Unclear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, honey, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, pale malt, honey, sweet malt, wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170512]

Taster at EBCF. BD brought not a lot else to the table at this festival but this makes up for it. Looks lovely - rose gold, clear, thin head. This is interesting - part sour, part barley wine, part ale. Honey and red wine and pineau des charentes. Nice stuff.
