COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sink the Bismarck! is beer, amplified. With the volume turned full up, it is important you that you be careful with this beer and show it the same amount of sceptical, tentative respect you would show an international chess superstar, clown or gypsy. Sink the Bismarck is a quadruple IPA that contains four times the hops, four times the bitterness and frozen four times to create at a staggering 41% ABV. This is IPA amplified, the most evocative style of the craft beer resistance with the volume cranked off the scale. Kettle hopped, dry hopped then freeze hopped for a deep fruit, resinous and spicy aroma. A full out attack on your taste-buds ensues as the incredibly smooth liquid delivers a crescendo of malt, sweet honey, hop oils and a torpedo of hop bitterness which lasts and lasts.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2016 Batch 91 o 911? Best before 14/01/21, aperta il 24 aprile 2016.

tfredvik (1912) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 18, 2016
This flat "beer" pours a clear, golden and incredibly viscous body with no head. The aroma is intense and very hoppy, with heavy notes of tropical fruits and caramel. The flavour is burning alcoholic, ridiculously hoppy and immensely malty: this is pure IPA concentrate! Also some hints of herbs. The taste is harsh bitter and heavy sweet, and the boozy aftertaste lasts until the next morning. The body is fuller than full and the texture is thicker than crude oil. This is a crazy, fun and absurd brew, but not exactly pleasant. Compared to e.g. Tactical Nuclear Penguin this is just a novelty.

Aroma: alcohol, herbs, honey, malty. Appearance: clear amber color and no head. Taste: warming alcohol, really herbal and bitter, quite rough. Palate: full body and low carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: It taste like jaeger, strange stuff, absolutely this is not IIPA.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2016 Klarowne, bez piany, bursztynowe. Aromat przywodzi na mysl najlepsze angielskie BW w typie K31 z wyraźniejszym alkoholem. Praktycznie bez gazu. Mocno alkoholowe a zarazem chmielowe w smaku, karmelowe, z wyrazna goryczka na finiszu.

Pours golden with no head. Aroma is alcohol, fruits, some caramel, sweetness, hardwood. Taste is strong, hops, a lot of different fruits, lilac. Not very sticky and after taste does not last long. Interesting.

JoTheO (190) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2016
Interesting beer. Color reminding of an Oloroso sherry, copper red. No head and no lacing. Definitively void of any carbonation... Very salty salmiak taste and plenty of hop bitterness, somewhat surprisingly. OK, have tried this and fun to offer the rest of the 375 ml bottle to guests and friends, but nothing I will sip on on a Friday evening.

Pours clear copper like whisky. Aroma very toffee like aroma with ethyl alcohol. Taste is a syrupy toffee, some burning alcohol. Nicer than anticipated

Surprisingly it has aromas of hops with notes of pomelo and orange peel, mango. Lots of vanilla, cinnamon and resin. Very deep. I was expecting more alcohol. Still its 41% so ...there is enough but the thickness and huge hop burn makes you remember it isnt a typical high abv distillate. Its completely out of this world.
