COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sink the Bismarck! is beer, amplified. With the volume turned full up, it is important you that you be careful with this beer and show it the same amount of sceptical, tentative respect you would show an international chess superstar, clown or gypsy. Sink the Bismarck is a quadruple IPA that contains four times the hops, four times the bitterness and frozen four times to create at a staggering 41% ABV. This is IPA amplified, the most evocative style of the craft beer resistance with the volume cranked off the scale. Kettle hopped, dry hopped then freeze hopped for a deep fruit, resinous and spicy aroma. A full out attack on your taste-buds ensues as the incredibly smooth liquid delivers a crescendo of malt, sweet honey, hop oils and a torpedo of hop bitterness which lasts and lasts.

Surprisingly it has aromas of hops with notes of pomelo and orange peel, mango. Lots of vanilla, cinnamon and resin. Very deep. I was expecting more alcohol. Still it’s 41% so ...there is enough but the thickness and huge hop burn makes you remember it isn’t a typical high abv distillate. It’s completely out of this world.

DWF; Bottle 375ml, from Vinmonopolet. Pours nothing, dark brown with no head. Nose is heavy, malt, dark dried fruit and alchol. Taste is tons of alchol and sweet with a bitter, hekken alkohol finish. Body is full, texture is creamy, carbonation is totaly flat. Interresting and enjoyable experiment! Dont run to Kvadrat.

Una auténtica brutalidad. Aunque sinceramente no me gustó nada y es tan, tan fuerte que lo mejor es tomarse un chupito e incluso compartirlo. No volveré a pedírmela.

Bottle pours at DogTap, Ellon. Pours brown orange with no head. Very thick and oily. Hops in aroma. Sweet malty, caramel, fruit, spices. Bitter. Full bodied. Warming alcohol. Leaves burning sensation in throat. Very interesting, and surprisingly good. Would like to try it again.

From a bottle. Wow, heaps of aniseed mixed with the massive alcohol flavours that punch you in the face, not really for me. It’s a bit over the top.

Bottle from Brewdog online shop. Color: dark caramel brown liquid with no carbonation and no foam. Very sweet liquor aspect. Smell: alcohol and plums alcohol nose. Nothing as a beer... I know it’s extreme and really far as a beer but I expected more beer notes... Taste: alcohol taste, alcohol domination... nothing more. Very nice beer if you want to relieve your wallet... none other interest !

Clear dake golden with no head or carbonation - Malt and hops with strong alcohol aroma - Flavour has a lot of hops in it with some citrus notes and alcohol with some malty notes - The alcohol and hops goes into the finish - This was surprisingly good and actually quite easy to drink
