Draught @ [ LCBF 17 ], London Craft Beer Festival 2017, Shoreditch Electric Light Station, Coronet Street, Greater London, England N1 6HD.

[ As BrewDog Small Batch Cranachan Cream Ale ].
Murky matt medium to light red - pink colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate yeasty, marmalade, raspberry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, marmalade, jam, berry, raspberry, wheat, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. On that day not my thing ! Intense raspberries, sweet lemon milkshake, lactose. Hazy, reddish, tiny, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More raspberries, grain malts, sweet molasses, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Cream Ale. Keg at LCBF17, Hoxton.

Keg at brewdog shepherds Bush. A clouded reddish pink, raspberry coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is tangy woody raspberry, portage oats tart fruit, creamy oats, raspberry yogurt,. Palate is semi sweet, cream, milky, rounded, lowish carbonation,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet slightly tart raspberry, woody raspberry and creamy. Good concept beer.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush. A cloudy pink colour with a thin white head. Aroma of tart raspberry, some strawberry jam, slight biscuit and subtle marshmallow. Taste of tart raspberry, some strawberry jam, slight lactic acid, a hint of biscuit and subtle marshmallow. Light bodied and a lightly slick texture. A sweet, slightly tart, raspberry finish. More like a smoothie than a beer, tastes nowhere near its strength either. Tart and slightly lactic. It’s ok but wanted more.

Keg at BD Soho, 03/08/17. Reddish orange with a well appointed washed out crimson cap theta retains well. Nose is sweet malts, mellow red berry fruits, cream soda, raspberry pips. Taste comprises raspberry yoghurt, light bread, airy malts, strawberry cheesecake. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, bitterr sweet berry fruits in the close. A well made fun number and certainly very cream ale whe conpared to others in this style, however not very beer like ... felt like I was drinking a fruit smoothie !

Keg, Nitro at Dogtap. It pours cloudy pinkish with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, creamy, rasperry sherbet and cremola foam. The taste is smooth, creamy, tart juicy raspberry and plenty of it, raspberry pip, cremola foam and pink marshmallow with a smooth and fruity finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Hides abv very well. Well executed and very drinkable. Good one.

500ml bottle. In a Brewdog tulip. Nose of pine, citrus fleshy fruit nuance, lots of malt. Golde with a shy white head that’s two midget stubby fingers of foam. Bitterness earthy hops and jamish sweet malt mix. Inoffensive but not my thing.
