33 cL bottle, courtesy of Theis. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Burned plastic and smoked aroma. Vegetable and burned plastic flavoured. Very smoked and somewhat strange in flavour profiles. Dry and lasting vegetable/plastic smoked flavoured finish. Ungstrup (37309) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2009
Bottled. A pale golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of phenol, wood, and whiskey. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of phenols, wood, smoke, peat, and whiskey - too much for me. joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2008

Not very fond of the combination of IPA and cask aged whisky. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 10, 2008
Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Islay whisky cask in the nose and also some slight fruity notes. Flavour is pretty much oakbarrel, smoke and very islay whiskyish. Not much left of any IPA-like notes in the flavour.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Clear golden with a tiny off-white head. Strong aroma of burned plastic and smoke. Medium body, burned plastic accents, malt and ashes. Bitter finish. The IPA notes completely disappears under the heavy barrel peatiness. 300809 omhper (24973) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2008
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, small head. Oaky woody whisky aroma. Medium sweet and a bit fruity with solid body. Plenty of hoppy grapefruit underneath the shisky. Long very salty bitter finiah. While the marriage between the intense hops and whisky is a stormy one, it’s tough to host to so strong personalities in one bottle, it still works out OK. One of the most schizophrenic beers I’ve head. madmitch76 (24388) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2009
9th May 2008. Strong smokey whiskey flavours battle with fruity hops. It’s bit of a shock but it does just about work. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 10, 2008
This is not beer. This is whisky. I have o idea what zeitgeist is, but if this is it, you can keep it. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 24, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2008 Guilford Arms Ebinburgh... think the cask is Aardberg ... Crisp clear golden orange definte whiskey in this ... and it overpowers ... forcing its way to front ... dry hop linger with the whiskey leaveing a falvoursome coating in mouth ... this build and builds. Maybe if you enjoy whiskey you will like this... but for me . NO. Couldnt drink more than 1 inch out of the glass.
