Hazy amber beer, big cream coloured head. Light palate, slightly crispy. Good malt backbone. Minerals. Trace of aniseed. Piney hops over a bitterish citrus backdrop. Subtle brine in the backend - perhaps it leaked! A decent but blinking expensive IPA.

Bottle. A gusher producing a clear, golden body with an orange tint and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is piney and resiny, with some toothpaste like notes and a maltyness. Full-bodied, dry and pleasantly carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Some pale malts too, and also pine cones and resin. Lasting bitter finish. Overall, a quite nice beer, easy drinkable and maybe lacking a bit on the hops. 120622 gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2012

Bottle, thanks to Bunce. It pours clear amber, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is sweet caramel, wood, toast and alcohol warmth. The taste is sweet caramel, wood, alcohol warmth, toasted malt, biscuit and resin, with a warm, dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Fun idea, but doesn’t live up to other Brewdog IPAs. Stuu666 (13394) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 15, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours golden, light fruity nose and taste, didn’t taste too different from regular punk. Rune (12743) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2012
330ml bottle purchased at the BrewDog bar in Glasgow. Off-white head with a solid stand leaving rings of lace behind. Apricot coloured body, hazy. Smell of red oranges and citrus shells. Succulent taste profile of oranges, grapefruits and juicy malts topped by a very satisfying, dry bitter ending. Medium to full bodied. Pleasing, indeed (Tromsø, 21.04.2012).
