3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A gusher producing a clear, golden body with an orange tint and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is piney and resiny, with some toothpaste like notes and a maltyness. Full-bodied, dry and pleasantly carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Some pale malts too, and also pine cones and resin. Lasting bitter finish. Overall, a quite nice beer, easy drinkable and maybe lacking a bit on the hops. 120622
Bottle at home. Pours golden, light fruity nose and taste, didn’t taste too different from regular punk. allmyvinyl (10926) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle from Brewdog online shop, and Appellation Wines, but then I sold those ones on Ebay... Those were the days... Struck me as standard Brewdog ipa fare, but the rum and salt came through at the back end. Nice label. Scottishchris (723) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 30, 2013
Bottle from Cornelius (bought on first release). Pours with craggy off white head. Clear amber. Some resin and pine on the nose but mainly grapefruit. Good bitterness but tempered. Not in your face stuff (possibly I've left it a little long). Certainly hides alcohol well and is pretty drinkable. Maybe the pressure has subdued what this was originally. I like the story and the label so it scores for that too. llkc (2662) - århus, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2013
Brewdog. sunk the punk.
330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, pine and peach in the aroma. Hoppy and fruity taste with dried fruit, grapefruit and pine detected.

gets an extra point for the story. the beer itself though impressed with its hop profile running right alongside the tasty, toffee malt body. snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - MAY 18, 2013
Tasted from the bottle, on 18/05/2013.
Pours hazy light copper, with a small head that falls off quickly.
Aroma is super dank, lovely!
Taste is a bit one dimensional, quite resiny&dank, a touch of honey, just slightly grapefruity and piny.
Nice bitterness smoothly builds up in the end.
A 100% west coast style ipa, pure hop liquid, yummy!

I am not sure how old this bottle is so will not be the most fair of reviews due to hop aroma and flavour most likely fading. It poured a deep copper with a thick creamy head. The beer was crystal clear. There was still a lot of aroma but not the in your face expectation especially from a Brewdog IPA. Again, maybe due to the age. There was a sweet caramel that first came followed by piney citrus hops. The body was good but wished id drank this sooner. Habanero (4788) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2013
Bottled. Pours clear and deep golden with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, caramel and piney notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture an soft CO2. Aquite nice IPA. ★★★ madmitch76 (25286) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2013

Hazy amber beer, big cream coloured head. Light palate, slightly crispy. Good malt backbone. Minerals. Trace of aniseed. Piney hops over a bitterish citrus backdrop. Subtle brine in the backend - perhaps it leaked! A decent but blinking expensive IPA.
