UPDATED: NOV 17, 2010 I love this nose! It just punches me in the face, this bottle of christmas. Gingerbread dough, hint of cocoa and milkchocolate.
On the palate is more boring, with less taste. But man, this nose is just great! I could smell it all night long! brownyonder (266) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 27, 2011
Very Dark brown with a pale cream head. The aroma isn’t strong - mild coffee and liquorice plus some seasonal marzipan. Relly nice hints of cloves and cinnamon in the flavour against a background of chocolate.

33 cl bottle, pours dark with a nice big head, aroma of cinnamom, ginger, cardemom and malt, taste folllows the nose, way over the top with the spices, certainly not my thing. Koyo (251) - SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2010
Bottle from Systembolaget. Being a huge Brewdog fan this was a must have for me. The aroma is very pleasant, a lot of spices mixing with the normal stout aromas. It looks like a stout as well, black, maybe the foam is a bit thin though. Then there is the taste, it is not all that great. The spices are decent but somehow, there is also a lot of hops, specially the first few sips that ruin everything. Usually I am all for hoppy beers but not when there are spices like these. I bought two bottles, going to let the other one sit in the cellar for a while and see how it turns out.

Quite good beer with an interesting taste. A little different than most christmas beers and thankfully not as sweet. Not overly impressed by the aroma or the palate, but the taste was definitely ok. fobar (241) - Søgne, NORWAY - JAN 21, 2011
330ml bottle. Dark brown body. Beige head. Taste and aroma of ginger, chocolate and orange. Spicy. Not very long aftertaste. abstractbeer (241) - NORWAY - NOV 19, 2010
Hooray! Brewdog at my local grocery store! Finally! Pours a dark reddish black, small light brown head, rather quickly diminishing. Smells initially of milk chocolate, cinnamon, some ginger and a hint of cooked vegetables. Aroma is old lady perfume, hints of grapefruit and lime, some soap, ginger and cinnamon. I have a slight cold; my senses might be impaired. Body and palate is a bit thin and quite dry. The bitterness is quite overwhelming and not too pleasant. Rather short, chalky, bitter finish. Doubt I’ll buy it again, but at least it’s interesting. JWE (209) - Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a big head. Aroma with roasted nuts and gingerbread - actually quite pleasant. The taste is just horrible though. Odd spice combination really kills this beer for me. slakemythirst (201) - - DEC 13, 2011
Flytande mahogny. Pepparkakor, saffran och russin. Bra att skölja ner köttbullarna med i jul. Kommer stå på mitt julbord.
