Aroma like a very good christmas beer, appearance is not so good, little head, and no stay. The taste hits you with a very gingerbready taste, a little to much for my taste, with some additional spices. Feels good in your mouth, and overall a decent beer. Bottle. Dark, dark ruby, almost black pour, minuscule off-white head. Aroma is indeed in the spirit of christmas. It smells like all the good christmas-sweets. Lots of cinnamon, ginger, pepper and sugar. Taste is very similar, with sweet ginger and cinnamon, pepper, cocoa. Slightly sour and with some hops in the finish. Big body, low carbonation. As a christmas beer, this is a very interesting and refreshing brew, albeit slightly off-balance and a bit too punchy perhaps. It is very innovative, and an enjoyable alternative to the wide selection of christmas brews. CEZ (420) - Milano, ITALY - FEB 27, 2012
One of the strangest brews I’ve ever tasted, this is a style on its own... Very dark brown body, medium off-white head. The CI N N A M O N in the nose is overwhelming and a bit shocking. Otherwise the balance is nice and interesting. More cinnamon, anisette, salty licorice, cola. Moderately sweet followed by a moderate but lasting herbal bitterness. Light to medium mouthfeel. Definitely interesting and worth a try, but it’s just not to my liking - someone else might love it. Geuzelambix (376) - København, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012
Quite good beer with an interesting taste. A little different than most christmas beers and thankfully not as sweet. Not overly impressed by the aroma or the palate, but the taste was definitely ok. Frenger (367) - Derby, Alabama, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2012
Bottle from brewdog.com. Way way too thin. Quite enjoyable for the flavour but it felt like drinking flavoured water. Still quite nice.

Pours dark brownish amber with a medium off-withe head. Tonnes of cinnamon and ginger, and also some sweet caramel malts. snzcujo (295) - RUSSIA - FEB 13, 2013
Tasted from the bottle, on 13/03/2013.
Pours reddish brown.
Aroma is great, spices, sour berries (cherries?), no cocoa.
Taste is amazing, mostly aroma notes, but mixed so incredibly well.
Aftertaste is spicy hinger, lovely!

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2010 I love this nose! It just punches me in the face, this bottle of christmas. Gingerbread dough, hint of cocoa and milkchocolate.
On the palate is more boring, with less taste. But man, this nose is just great! I could smell it all night long!
