Intergalactic Fantastic Oak Aged Stout
The irony of existentialism, the parody of being and the inherent contradictions of post-modernism, all so delicately conveyed by the blocky, pixelated arcade action have all been painstakingly recreated in this bottles contents.

This imperial stout is brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries. After fermentation we then dry-hop this killer stout with a bucketload of our favourite hops before carefully ageing the beer on French toasted oak chips.

It is all about moderation. Everything in moderation, including moderation itself. What logically follows is that you must, from time, have excess. This beer is for those times.
Formally 18.2 % ABV

CyborgX (109) - THAILAND - OCT 25, 2016
Bottle - Aroma is sweet malts and a little smokey. Taste is very sweet but counterbalanced with bitterness, which keeps you thinking with every sip "is this sweet or bittersweet? And Sip it you must to savour the plethora of flavours squeezed into every mouthful. So many its hard to guess, chocolate? Dark fruits? Faint coffee? Lumps of smoked wood? LOL. It masks the mind numbing 16.5% alcohol, and leaves a very slight bitter end as the rest of the flavours bounce around your tongue and slowly fade on the palette. I was worried it was going to be dissapointing for the high price.... TRUST ME IT ISN'T! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Süßer, dunkel malziger Antrunk. Der starke Alkoholgehalt ist geschmacklich nicht erkennbar, karamellig, süffig, Noten von Kakao und Espresso. Holznoten, Vanille, vollmundig. Süffig, intensiv malzig, gut. 9/13/11/12/13/12

330ml bottle @ Alex’s. 2012 Vintage. Pours a cloudy brown colour. Nose is licorice, caramel, dark fruits, malts, molasses. Flavour is very sweet caramel and oh so smooth, malty malts. Complex and tasty.

Tasting Alex’s. Batch #10. BB 04-04-2021, 18.2% ABV. Pours a cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma and taste are very complex, sweet, with dark fruits (figs, resin), some barrel notes. Amazingly perfect stuff!

Bottle. Pours black with a ruby hue rim and a thin brown foam that resides in a ring. Scent is hickory smoke. Vanilla. Maybe oak wood. Light resin. Light caramel. Taste is hickory, vanilla, dense resin, and dense cranberries. Smokey wood finish. Flavors of cherries. Some sour notes. Mouthfeel is outrageously smooth. Fantastic. Shoutout to @AshtonMcCobb at Appellation Wines - cheers to my third perfect score.

Bottle at home. Pours dark with a tan head. Aroma of red fruits, alcohol, coffee, roasted malts, light toasted/smoke, light hops. Taste is heavy sweet, moderate bitter, red fruits, sweet roasted malts, coffee, alcohol, light hops, very sweet sugary aftertaste, some red fruits, caramel, alcohol, light hops. Do not like the sweetness in this one.

SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Pours hazy brown with a small beige head. Smells of roast, oak, hints of fruit. Taste is sweet, fruity, hints of oak and alcohol. Full-bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, BrewDog Tokyo* finishes with a lingering alcoholic heat.

Villyzzz (392) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 23, 2016
Bottle at pub. Pours oily black with medium beige head. Aroma has licorice, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla and some roastiness. Taste is strong sweet caramel with vanilla. Subtle hops and malts. Strong caramel in the end. Extremely full palate. Thick bodied. Medium carbonation. Long finish. Amazing. I would say this is one of the gods of beers but I am an atheist so it would not describe this beast enough.

Evilkniamhel (959) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 9, 2016
Bottle from Appellation Wines Dalry. Pours pitch black, espresso cream head. Nose of bourbon, molasses, dark fruit, christmas cake, maple syrup. On the palate; boozy burn, yet smooth, super full-bodied, spicy, sweet. A treat!

bonev (790) - POLAND - SEP 1, 2016
Piwo czarno brunatne bez refleksow z niezbyt obfita piana. W aromacie wszystko co powinno byc w RISie. Wanilia, ciemne dojrzale owoce, palone slody, nuty beczki i szlachetngo alkoholu. W smaku slodko, czekolada z kawa, toffee i guma balonowa. Bardzo geste i oleiste, pelne cialo, grzeje konkretnie w gardlo. Degustowac powoli bo zawarty alkohol moze byc naprawde zdradliwy.
