COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The constant, unrelenting noise becomes something purer than sound – reverberating through every part of you as the eyes rush to take in the pixelated arcade action. It’s all-pervading. Small silver coins are your life-blood, Player 1.
Our most involved beer, Tokyo* is an Imperial Stout brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries, dry-hopped with a bucket-load of our favourite hops and then carefully aged on toasted French oak chips.
It’s all about moderation. Everything in moderation, Player 1. What logically follows is that you must from time to time, have excess. This beer is for those times.

Bottle, thanks Craig. Black with brown head. Roasty aroma with lots of licorice. Taste of molasses, roasty. Bit thin, tangy amd sticky.

Darkest brown, no real head. Oaky, bleeding liquorice and light cherry. Almost oaty, decent sweetness. Vibrant darkest malt. Held up suprisingly well but rakes of dryness.

Bottle, from the CGArvieUK cave

(18.2% version). Exceptional beer! A bit sweet and the taste lasts for minutes. BrewDog once again shows why they are among my favourite breweries.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Malts, chocolat, liqueur sucrée. Ca tape un peu trop quand même. Moyen plus.

Jet black pour with a small tan head. Boozy aromas with some nice molasses and cocoa. Flavor is pretty warm at first but then the roasty character comes out nicely. Finish is long and a bit hot. If the abv was a bit more hidden on this one it’d be a lot nicer but still pretty good.

12oz bottle pours a dark oily black with a tan head. Big oak aroma. Caramel Maple oak and sweet malts taste.

GIJOE (1196) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - JAN 30, 2014
Pours black with a frothy, brown head that fades quickly. Nearly no lacing. Nose is spiced molasses, dried prunes, and sweet mocha with oaky booze overtones. Taste is powerfully sweet and incredibly rich. Thick, full bodied, creamy goodness. Soft carbonation. Whiskeyed toffee finish. This is a remarkable dessert beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pushkinwow (2781) - Ottawa, CANADA - DEC 30, 2013
On tap at Capones 2013 Black Friday event. Dark mahogany with no head. Once it warmed up lots of molasses, raisin, prune, alcohol, oak, belgian candied sugar. Full body, mild carbonation, sweet but there is some bitterness present. Makes a great black and tan with Dogfish 120 minute!

Bottle. Unbelievably rich and thick with a massive sweet sherry aroma. The big abv isn’t immediately apparent on the tongue but there’s only a little time before the warmth in the chest becomes apparent. Very well made and well worth keeping for the last 30 odd months!
