COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The constant, unrelenting noise becomes something purer than sound – reverberating through every part of you as the eyes rush to take in the pixelated arcade action. It’s all-pervading. Small silver coins are your life-blood, Player 1.
Our most involved beer, Tokyo* is an Imperial Stout brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries, dry-hopped with a bucket-load of our favourite hops and then carefully aged on toasted French oak chips.
It’s all about moderation. Everything in moderation, Player 1. What logically follows is that you must from time to time, have excess. This beer is for those times.

bien noire, peu de mousse, très sucrée, beaucoup de fruits secs, assez vite écoeurante.

Bottle pour, black body with bubbly graham foam. Aroma is cherries, spice, raisins, soy sauce, licorice. Taste is raisins, molasses, black licorice, coffee, cola, vanilla. So sickly sweet! Wow! Palate is good, carbonation subdued. This is like cough syrup. Way too sweet. Can’t believe i’m gonna drain pour.

33cl bottle from systembolaget. Pours pitch black with little head. Sweet aroma with nice sweet flavours. First taste nice and fruity with chocolate but aftertaste has a strong alcohol taste.

Bottle, thanks Craig. Another one I’d thought I wouldn’t get a chance at! Dark brown, no head. Big aromas, of liquorice and cranberries - swear i can get some jasmine at the back. Floral notes anyway. Taste is much thinner than the 18.2% version, but still quite rich, and oaky. Dry finish, thins out more at the end. Loved trying this.

Bottle, thanks Craig. Black with brown head. Roasty aroma with lots of licorice. Taste of molasses, roasty. Bit thin, tangy amd sticky.

McNeillR (2329) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 25, 2014
Darkest brown, no real head. Oaky, bleeding liquorice and light cherry. Almost oaty, decent sweetness. Vibrant darkest malt. Held up suprisingly well but rakes of dryness.

Bottle, from the CGArvieUK cave

torebravo (2) - - APR 23, 2014 does not count
(18.2% version). Exceptional beer! A bit sweet and the taste lasts for minutes. BrewDog once again shows why they are among my favourite breweries.

Renobob (2064) - Besançon, FRANCE - APR 5, 2014
Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Malts, chocolat, liqueur sucrée. Ca tape un peu trop quand même. Moyen plus.

NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 30, 2014
Jet black pour with a small tan head. Boozy aromas with some nice molasses and cocoa. Flavor is pretty warm at first but then the roasty character comes out nicely. Finish is long and a bit hot. If the abv was a bit more hidden on this one it’d be a lot nicer but still pretty good.

3.8
olr1984 (1530) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2014
12oz bottle pours a dark oily black with a tan head. Big oak aroma. Caramel Maple oak and sweet malts taste.
