Bottled, from Systembolaget. Almost clear deep golden, pale amber, mid sized head. Floral orangy hops up front. Mid aweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Citrus, bread and peppermint. Resinous bitter finish. A completely different beer than the Trappist. Had I not tried them side by side and knew what they were I could not have believed how much they have in common. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2013

Light haze on this amber beer, tidy white head. Palate starts smooth but has a minerally crisp trailing edge. Smooth malt, semi sweet and semi dry. I know this is a yeast showcase but there is a little too much of it in the mid. Decent orange hops with a nice tangerine bite bring things around. Semi dry finish.

Bottle from Pibar, Lausanne; batch 240, bb 10-10-14
Hazy bright amber color with small compact head. Nice aroma, hoppy, delicate resins and fruits, with a pleasant earthy and sweaty side. The mouthfeel is dry; some malt and toffee flavor, but also somehow metallic; strong bitterness, with some hop resins, otherwise not much hop quality.
