Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, rich firm head. Floral hops overshadowed by Carlsberg-y pea soup. Sweet and fruity, medium-full bodied with rounded, syrupy mouthfeel. Ripe fruit, oily caramel and sticky syrup. Resiny finish. Really disharmonic and without much redeaming features. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2013

Bottle at home in London - think I got this one from an online shop. Best By 26/09/2014. So, this one is vintage. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head that settles into a filmy lace. Suggestions of oxidation in the nose, some caramel, berries, hints of cardboard, bread, grains. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with rich bready malts and caramel, some toasted grains, light bitter grain husk, hay, tangerine, orange peel. Medium bodied with average carbonation and oily texture. Sugary finish, with continuing rich and bready malts, some lightly gooey caramel, ripening berries, touches of citrus, husky grains, lightly toasted cereal. Overall, it’s not bad. The aging has given it a novel layer. Pretty drinkable stuff.
