Keg at BD Shoreditch. It pours clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is zesty orange, light tangerine, peach, apricot, fresh grass and spice. The taste is spice, bitter grass, touch of pithy citrus, decent bitterness and light metal with a dry, crisp finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough hopped-up pilsner. Keg at BD Camden, 19/03/13.
Clear golden with a thin white head.
Nose carries hops, light grain, orange, grapefruit, touch of cheese.
Taste comprises hops, grapefruit, citrus, orange.
Medium bodied with prickly carbonation, a little on the thin side but not too much, bitter notes in the finish.
Decent enough hoppy pils. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2013
Keg at Brewdog Brum. Hmm a rare misfire for BD. Cheesy flavour, with the promise of lovely hops, which never quite materialise. Expected a lot, but just doesn’t compete with stuff like Mikkeller’s American Dream or To Ol Raid. Koelschtrinker (20388) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAR 22, 2013
Herb-bitterer Antrunk, frische Hopfennoten. Hopfiger werdend, etwas grasig. Rund, spritziger, balanciert. Nettes, stark hopfiges Pils. 10/10/11/11//11 JohnRMurdoch (4863) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 18, 2013
Keg @ BrewDog. Yellow orange colour, reasonable head. Strong spicy resin hop malt aroma. Corn vegetable malt flavour. Sharp with corn aftertaste. A lager IPA hybrid.
