75cl bottle at CBC Clerkenwell. Many many thanks to Paul for popping this rare treat on his B-Day! It pours a light golden colour with a thin white head and good lacing. Aroma is berries upfront with woody, oaky notes and some peaches. Flavor is thinly hopped, with berries flavours and the barrel aging showing much more. Again berry notes in the finish. Interesting for sure, I liked it. Scopey (15663) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2013
Bottle shared at my birthday drinks. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is whisky, oak, strawberry, raspberry, faint toast and coconut. The taste is faintly tart, strawberry, raspberry, light toast, hay, sweet pale malt, fairly prevalent alcohol, straw, berry ice-cream, candyfloss, wood and mild whisky with a dry, bitter finish. Medium+ body, mild tartness and fine carbonation. I find this still pretty hot really. Fun to try, but I couldn’t drink much of it! jackl (8420) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Rating #2800! Bottle, cheers to Paulo for the pour! The pour’ deep amber with a tiny white head. The nose is knackered sherry, cherry and strawberry fruit compote. Toasted leaves and wood. A touch of sweet marzipan. The taste is quite peppery. Some signs of oxidization. General paper. More cherry and strawberry. Woody finish. I didn’t get much whisky in my sample. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, fine, though certainly not in its prime anymore. Leighton (22301) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2013
Harpoons at the ready, gents! Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during Paul’s Birthday Celebration - London. Thanks to Paul ’Ahab’ Scopey for leading this expedition. Pours clear, yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a moderate foamy white head; looks quite fresh for a beer of its vintage. The aroma holds dried citrus fruits, hay, pale malts, notes of white bread. Medium sweet flavor with decent alcohol punch, dry wood, hay, light bitterness, dry pale malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, slight minerals, further dried pale malts, mild dryness, dried citrus, some hay bitterness, hints of peach and other stone fruits. A novel beer. Certainly fun and interesting to try one of BrewDog’s first ’experimental’ beers. Overall, decent. It does drink fairly well for the ABV. nimbleprop (8743) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 7, 2012
750ml bottle pours a clear orange with some cloudy white head. Big, strawberry aroma, candy sugar... not much else. Flavor is... strawberries, candy sugar. Medium bodied, sweet finish. Just a strawberry beer, not a whole lot else.

750 mL bottle thanks to ygtbsm94. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention. Aroma of toffee, bread and a fruity finish. The taste is berries and bready malts with a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 9, 2012
transparent rich gold, thin white ring. Light strawberry and honey, bit of orange rind. Metallic flavor, light grass ad strawberry through finish. Bit hot, way too oily, singular. oteyj (2138) - New Hampshire, USA - JUN 3, 2012
Clear amber pour with a small white head. Bready oxidation, vegetation, and caramel toffee. Not good at all. Ugh. Thick syrupy palate with thin carbonation. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 3, 2012
75cl bottle, thanks ygtbsm94. Clear apple juice body, minimal white head. Aroma is medium sweet, strawberry, light alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, strawberry, light straw. Medium-full body, light stickiness. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 3, 2012
750mL thanks to ygtbsm94. Pours clear gold with no head formation. Nose is funky, starchy, small strawberry. Taste is tangy, weak, strawberry seed. Fresh and sour. Not bad. Longer seedy finish.
