This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized dark tan colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The nice aroma was black malt brown malt and mild chocolate. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of roasted malt mild brown malt chocolate brown malt and dark malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. A nice example of an Americanized version of the English IPA. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2015
Poured a lighter orange with a white jead. Aroma was of candy sugar, and citrusy hops. Flavor similar, tastes a bit old and stale, bitter and sweet. smaynard6000 (1152) - Apopka, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2015
on tap at Brewerie. Light amber in color with an average-sized frothy white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with heavy citrus notes. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel, moderately bitter and citrusy. My favorite among the beers I tried on site. sonnycheeba (5959) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 30, 2014

Flight from the pub. Pours transparent light amber with a layer of cream colored head. Aroma hints at floral hops and citrus. Taste of bitterness without much complexity. FROTHINGSLOSH (7667) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 15, 2013
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy caramel-brown color with a huge creamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was fairly strong grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was tangy nut, caramel, grapefruit and a moderate rough earthy presence. Long rough earthy, nut and caramel finish. Moderately full bodied. UPDATED: MAR 10, 2012 Very little hoppy aroma, if any. Yes, quite hoppy bitter but at first I didn’t think I tasted any hops. It evolves from the time it hits your tongue till the time it goes down the gullet. Gets more and more hoppy bitterness in there as the session continues. Nice lacing in this brew. leaves a medium hop bitterness on the finish but I must say, it is below average on hop bitterness compared to most IPA on this site. I don’t like IPA, so if you do, ignore my numbers and give this a try, you may like it. RayOhm (474) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 27, 2011
on tap at the restaurant. not much of an aroma, some hope. seemed like a great example of what a british IPA should be. nice citrus hops with a strong fruity hop finish. well done.
