Got this one on cask, served in tulip glass. Hazy caramel color with creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, light fruits, bread and some spices. Taste is sweet, thick and spicy ending with some hop bitterness. Full body with a nice warm finish. Nice!
Draft and cask at Brewer’s Alley. Clear golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, malt, biscuit. Tastes of big malt, biscuit. Medium body with a dry finish. Cask was a bit too thin for my liking. Travlr (26268) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 22, 2015
Cask and draft at the source. Clear amber color, thick beige head with good retention. Nice floral herbal aroma. Taste is earthy and bitter. Tasty. Beerathon (1681) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2014
Loved this beer. Big floral hops, sugary sweet maltiness, creamy and thick mouth feel. BeerandBlues2 (13871) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is citrus, earthy, and herbal hops, biscuit and cookie malt with apple and pear esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - AUG 10, 2013
nice beer. hazy amber pour. Very earthy profile, a bit of hop spice in the finish. This is probably the one I’d go back to with this brewer.

Cask at brewpub. Apparently this was brewed 10 months ago, so this is the 10 month edition of this brew. Poured a cloudy yellow/orange color with an off-white head. Aroma was sweet malty notes, touch of hop character. Aroma was hop, sweet malts, touch of booze. Pretty good. AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - OCT 18, 2012
10 oz tap - pours dark caramel orange and cloudy with small creamy white head, pretty finishing. Caramel aromas dominate with malted undertones. Medium bodied with tastes of orange, vanilla and malty sweetness. Good but not a cult beer. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - MAY 13, 2012
On tap 4 oz. sample at Maryland Craft Beer Festival 2012. This is the 2011 version of New Moon.
Pours very hazy and gradually clears, albeit never entirely. Nice, fine, white head and very good lacing.
Aroma is spicy with floral hops rounded out by a solid dose of sweet caramel and bready malts.
Taste is sweet and spicy with a solid sweet caramel and bready malt base and ample floral hops by the finish. Very nicely balanced.
A tad below medium body and carbonation.

Served cask at the brewpub... very nice beer. Strong aroma, solid hops. 7.2% so served in the fluted glass vs. a pint... marginal decision to do this, but that’s okay. Good temp... not cold, but room temp. Very cloudy, foamy head that lasts, but doesn’t hold in aroma. Very nice Ale, strong but balanced. A Keeper.
