Bottle - A very enjoyable Pilsner from Frederick. Amber colored with a doughy flavor and enough hop bitterness to make this a real nice brew.
Sample at the BJCP reception last week at HomeBrewCon.
Pale yellow, bready pilsner maltiness with spicy floral hops to counter. Light green apple initially. Not bad. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 27, 2013
transparent gold, thin white head, oily top and clingy lacing. Sweet nose lightly estery, bubblegum, heavily metallic, grassy hints but way too much sugar. Flavor more grassy, less errors, light sweetness through the end. zesty carbonation. BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Bottle shared by Travlr. Pours clear pale yellow with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is Pils malt and spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. MadRobin (2989) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - MAY 24, 2013
On tap at a Brewer's Alley Beer Pairing Dinner at a Frederick Keys/Potomac Nationals class A baseball game at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD.
Lightly hazy, pale straw-yellow with a tiny off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma of light white bread, light lemon and light pilsener hops.
Taste of light white bread, light pilsener hops and light lemon.
Light body medium/low carbonization.
Rather bland and a little more toward the sweet side than the typical pilsener.

12 ounce bottle. I don’t remember where I got this. Rated 3/25/11. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin creamy white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel apples primarily with some bready malts. Weird. The taste is apples, bready malts and bitter grassy hops. Medium bodied. Nowhere near style and not all that enjoyable.

Nice crisp golden coloured body with a light honey glow and a smallish, large-bubbled off-white head. Aroma of cardboard, malt, light sugars, funk and a touch of very very light hops. Light-bodied; Assertive light hops up front with a drying herbal malt and a light touch of sugars. Aftertaste is very mild, with some of the grassy and floral hops coming through, but very little else - no malt depth on this at all. Overall, a pretty sub-par pils, and for the bohemian section, this is a pretty big let-down. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Ye Olde Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-July-2010, sampled in New Paltz, New York on 20-November-2010. joeyplush (648) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Hard to find anything really good to say about this beer. Has a mass produced character, the flavor has a light amount of hoppiness but not much personality urbnhautebourg (997) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - OCT 18, 2010
My kind of beer. Restrained, but some very nice hop flavor, more along the lines of Oskar Blues Pils than Victory Prima. Malty in the same way of Oskar Blues. Very nice, and I find its State of Origin to be a bonus (I’m such a homer). strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Very mild and smooth... Almost no carbonation. Nice golden color, head was non existent as poured. Taste was a little off, but all around okay for a light beer with food. keepersj12 (3142) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 13, 2010
On tap at the pub. This was just bland. No aroma, it looked like a beer but don’t they all. The flavor was like a decent big guy lager. Nothing to write home about.
