Aroma is toasted and nutty malt, dates and figs with earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is malt forward with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Growler... Clear, deep amber lager with a large, frothy, cream-colored head. Toasted caramel, praline and bread in the aroma. The flavor is all toasted caramel and bread with herbal hops. Good balance. A tad thin. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel with gentle carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a mostly clear dark copper color with an off-white head. Aroma was caramel notes, some sweet toasted, nutty malts. Flavor was a touch of light citrus notes, earthy notes, nut character. Liked.
