Tap at Brewer’s Art. Pours clear amber with a medium-small, frothy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is toasted, nutty, and earthy malt with earthy hops and light apple and pear fruity esters. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Tap at Brewer’s Art. The pour is a clear, light orange to gold with not much head formation. Nose is malty, raw and husky, with honey and noble hops. Taste is soft, well integrated between quenching malt and citrus/lemon EKG-esque hops. Carbonation is prickly but not distracting too much from a full palate exhibiting mild diacetyl/butter and heavy biscuit/bread. Honey is not prominent like in the Tiny Tim. Mouthfeel gets a little watery, soapy, and metallic but not degrading in anyway. Feels heavier and denser than 5.3%. Simple and well executed.
