Aroma nach frisch gemahlenem Mehl. Geschmack ziemlich wässrig und nichtssagend. Beim zweiten Schluck findet man ein bisschen Weizen, aber sonst nicht viel.

Farbe golden, klar. Geruch leicht nach Weizen. Im Geschmack dann krass brenzliger Hefegeschmack.

Tap at Brewers Art. A wheat mild. Tastes pretty much nothing like an English mild other than it features malt. Nice malty tones at that. Wheat too. Hard to put your finger on, Right on.

Tap. Pour is golden. Good lacing. Fruity nose with slightly bitter or musty taste. Not my favorite but good.

Fruity nose (pears, apples) with just a touch of fresh herbs. Lightly sweet taste with plenty of floral and herbal hop notes. I picked up some oxidation and wateriness in the malts though that really brought this down for me.

Tap at Max’s. Really nice and refreshing beer. Tons of cereal and hops. Slightly funky. Overall a nice crisp and dry saison.

20101011 Tap at Max’s."Special wheat ale." spicy stuff with some pronounced cereal notes. Really comes across as just an American wheat with some herbs, maybe grains of paradise? Quite drinkable and seems like a nice base for some Brett a la weizen bam.

Draft. Clear apple juice body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, straw, some pepper, light berry. Taste is moderately sweet, bread/caramel, straw, some berry, pepper. Light-medium body, light acidity, some crispness.
