Pours a clear red with a decent eggshell head that settles to a ring and leaves some soapy, hanging lace. Nose involves rustic fruity Belgian yeast, cherry, pine resin, citrus, datebread. Fairly sweet, fairly bitter. Medium bodied, quite oily and slick, fair action, with a lengthy dry yeasty and hoppy bitter finish. Interesting brew, lots going on. Layered yet really drinkable. I kinda wish there was more Belgian influence, but this is otherwise a nice hoppy red. sudomorph (1167) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2015
16oz can. Pours a dark ruby/caramel with a two finger, cream head that sticks around forever and leaves a great coating. Aroma has a mix of resin, citrus, spice, a hint of bubblegum, and a touch of tartness. Taste is interesting. Orange citrus, pine, candy sugar, and some spice. Medium body with a medium-high carbonation. Clean in the mouth and pretty refreshing. Overall tasty and interesting. Kinda a mix of a Belgian wit and an American pale ale. Draft at brewpub. Pours light brown with a small khaki head. Nice malt notes on the nose. More of the Belgian yeast thing on the tongue along with the strong malt backbone makes for a nice brew. The hoppiness keeps things tight in the finish. Solid. Patrickctenchi (6592) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - NOV 18, 2014
Clear, red-copper with a thick beige head.

Poured a deep chestnut red color from the can with big aromas of toffee, caramel, light pine and some more hops. Flavors are malt with some big toffee and caramel notes with some light hops arena a light bitter aftertatse. Solid beer overall. libertine (433) - rochester hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 1, 2014
pours a reddish amber with a nice white head. aroma is grapefruit, pineapple and malt. flavor of red grapefruit, pineapple, mango, spice and malt. Resinous but not as much as the description depicts. medium body, heavy carbonation with a slick mouth feel. finishes dry and resinous as it should. This beer has a very clean character about it. crisp and refreshing. Very good red ale. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 6, 2014
This is nice. Mildly hoppy. Little bitterness. But the medley of flavors is wonderful -- Belgian yeast and red malts. Recommended.
