COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our most anticipated and highly talked about specialty releases, This hearty dark ale is fermented with our rustic Belgian yeast strain which gives the beer a farmhouse tartness followed by big dark chocolate notes, and hints of black cherries. Fermentation temperatures often climb past 90°F which builds the distinctive flavors. No adjuncts are added to this beer-- these robust layers of flavor are yeast driven. Listen to the lunatic.

Tap. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted dark chocolate and soft cherry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted dark sweet flavor with a medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting brew.

Tallboy can shared at a tasting. Pours a clear dark brown with a thin fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, butter, roasted malts, mild dark fruits. The taste is nuts, chocolate, cocoa, mild citrus and dark fruits. Thin-medium bodied, the name is a bit misleading as we were expecting tartness.
