Hazy dark golden liquid with a tallish, somewhat fluffy off-white head. Sweet citric scents. Sweet citric start. Some wheat sweetness in the middle. Not much else to talk about. Drier finish. Not much depth, especially in the malt department. 11/12

Poured from a can. Grain like aroma. Yellow with a huge off white head. Flavor a little harsh. Leaves a dry taste in mouth. jgb9348 (6655) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 25, 2016
Rich slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a nice fast-dying tan head, about 3 centimetres tall. Aroma of belgian yeast, spices, pungent malt, cleanser, pine, resin and a good dose of deep fruit. Meidum-bodied; Strong piney and resinous flavour with a large hop bitterness, some subdued belgian spiciness from the yeast and a good malt flavour that is on the edge of bitter. Aftertaste shows a well-rounded flavour of a lot of hops, some light malt and a good deal of the belgian yeast strain. Overall, a well-balanced beer that hits the right notes, but just not as good as others in this style, especially with the yeast chosen here - the hops are nice here, but simply not as complex as I would have preferred! I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 24-July-2015 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington after the Red Wings were eliminated from the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs earlier this weekend on 24-April-2016. mfhennig (286) - McHenry County, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2016
Pours a cloudy orange with a small off white head that fades away quickly. Aroma is yeast, grass and cheap perfume. Flavor seems artificial. I guess I’m not much for Belgian inspired IPA’s. markas101 (2550) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Can, Ann Arbor, MI via Plum Market. Murky amber gold. Citrus resin aroma. Some honey. Sweet, then a metallic hop flavour with some chalkiness. More honey on the long dry finish.

Copper-golden body is clear, topped by a small white head with moderate to moderately low retention.
Metal, alcohol, sharp, perfumey esters and peppery phenols are what’s left a year later, now that the hops have faded.
Same in the mouth. Intensely sharp, alcoholic and heavily phenolic. Some sweetness, rather artificial, remains, with the same loose, artificial carbonation that all of their canned beers seem to have. A Belgian IPA should be pleasantly Belgian after the hops fade, with esters, phenols and malt character interestingly replacing the hops. Instead, a flabby texture, flaws and alcohol are what remains behind. Drainpour.
Can at Shoeless Joe’s, 11/16/15. Clear golden-orange color with an off white head and drippy lacing. Citrus and citrus rind on the aroma and flavor. Has a yeasty spice component, as well as some grassy notes. Tastes balanced with the hops coming through more on the drier close. Feels medium bodied with a softer carbonation. Dryness feels more like that of a dry Saison than an IPA, but it definitely has that Belgian-style IPA feel overall. First thing I’ve tried from these guys, and this is a solid, but not amazing beer. ads135 (5235) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Pretty decent IPA with some nice belgian yeasty contributions. Clear orange with cloves and candy sugar. SG111 (2173) - New York, USA - AUG 11, 2015
Canned. Pours clear honey, big white head. Aroma is esters, mild dark fruits, banana, slight wheat, some lemon and orange peel. Citrus is there but only to balance. Flavor is interesting. Hops up front, citrus, lemon peel, slight funk, Belgian yeast and esters. Interesting balance. Slightly bitter finish. Actually pretty cool. wchesser (2182) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 11, 2015
Copper orange with medium lacing. Nose of light spicy belgian yeast esters. Taste has elements of spicy belgian yeast notes, bitter citrus hops, and bitter finish. Not a fan of the style, but one of the less offensive offerings out there.
