can. pours hazy medium dark golden with a creamy light beige-orange head, good retention and nice lacing. sweetish toasted caramel, spicy apricots, booze, candi sweetness, woodsy, hint of cardboard. moderately low carbonation, light to medium body - oily, semi-sweet grassy-spicy finish. slightly unbalanced. shy both belgian and ipa character. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Sampled right after Tree Hugger, and prefer this. Slight Belgian sweetness infuses what is otherwise a solid IPA. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 27, 2014
Pours amber with low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of belgian yeast, fruits, citrus, phenols, sugar, caramel. Taste is of caramel, bitterness, malt, fruits, belgian yeast, earth. Palate: Medium body. Soft-medium carbonation. Overall: Decent. Not really IPAish. Feels more like an amber ale with belgian yeast. Something is missing taste-wise. Mark_Eck (1949) - - AUG 11, 2014
Draft at Vivant. Pours a slightly hazy copper color. Aroma and taste are citrus and fruity.

This was poured into a tulip as I thought this was a Belgian IPA.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden bronzed amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. There wasn’t much lacing.
The smell had some tart to sour notes of grassy/lemon and moves towards some light Belgian spices.
The taste combines it all to fit a sour to bitter mouthiness to fulfill a light tart fruitiness all around.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for a Belgian IPA as there was a pretty decent harshness but not overbearing.
Overall, this was not a bad IPA or Belgian IPA, either way I could see myself having this again. Barnoloid (277) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Can poured into nonic pint glass. Great citrus nose and golden color. Has a very well balanced hop profile, with the yeasty Belgian feel that this beer promises. Drinkable. almost to the point of sessionable - despite the 6.5% ABV. Very solid. alliance100 (1152) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2014
16oz can - pours a darker gold . Big citrus aromas mask a hint of fruity yeast . Nice and bitter up front but finishes with some sweetness . Interesting .
