Tap at the source. Pours yellow color, white head. Aroma is lemon, clove, sour more than expected. Wheat and clove. Flavor is lemon, Belgian esters, Belgian yeast. Nice tripel. Jamesthebrit (421) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Kind of smells like my cat. Smooth. Lighter. A bit of banana but not bad. Dry. More charchters!!!! Nice beer. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Reviewed from notes. Recvd in trade.
This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a hazy orange to brown color with a slim one finger white head that dies within a minute leaving messy lacing just going all over the place.
The smell had some spiced apples, light bready yeast, subdued pepper and a light clove.
The taste was spicy and sweet and added a light grassy taste in it as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a fair sessionable rate about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me, slightly sharp but still smooth enough to go down the ol’ hatch.
Overall, good tripel of having again. Mark_Eck (1998) - - AUG 11, 2014
Draft at Vivant. Pours a nice golden color. Aroma and taste are sweet with fruits and yeast. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2014
Sampled on draught at the brewery. Mild estery nose, fruity and floral with yeasty notes. Mild honey. Dark orange-amber clear with thin head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts sweet with lots of yeasty esters, bubblegum, and honey. Melon. Sweet finish with ligh warming, nice tripel.

Can: Bright amber color, more clarity than I’d expect from a tripel. A touch of frothy, white head dies down quicker than expected as well. Aroma is full of Belgian yeast, light bubblegum, clove, a hint of Candi sugar sweetness, some grassy hops, & a touch of phenol notes. Taste lots of sweet banana-like esters, bubblegum, clove, orange zest, dry & spicy yeast, toasted bread, mild honey. Starts off nice, but leads into a bit of a phenolic & spicy yeast mess in the finish. Little too spicy. But still not awful... Just needs more refinement. Front end gets 3.6, the finish gets 2.6, so the beer gets the average, I guess. Decent overall. wchesser (2121) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 6, 2014
Tallboy from flandersned-thanks, Steve! Had it with grilled apricots just like the can suggested. Worked really well. Deep gold. Belgian yeast, cloves, on the nose. Pretty full bodied, not as sweet to me as others have said, but probably was fighting the fruit and goat cheese I had it with. Solid, and a good tripel, I just don’t love tripels. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Can. Pours golden. Small white head. Fruity aroma. Flavor includes banana & spicy fruitiness. Sweet finish. I really liked this one. Enjoyed the banana and spice. Its muted, but very appropriate. I’d definitely drink this one again. Niko100 (2982) - Chicago, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Nice golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt/biscuit, clove, & bubblegum; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, caramel, clove, and some bananas; A bit too sweet - decent. olundnat (25) - - APR 27, 2014
Golden sweet beer with a caramel aroma and a crisp malt taste. It is good, but not really for me because it is very sweet with hints of banana and cotton candy. I really like how Brewery Vivant has food pairings for each beer listed on each can.
