On tap. Pours black with a thin light tan head. Aroma of booze, roasted malt, sweet malt, roasted coffee, vanilla. Flavor of roasted malt, vanilla, espresso, dry roasted nuts, coffee, burnt malt, licorice. Tasty impy, dry, plenty of roasted coffee notes.

Bevuta il 29/09/2017 @ChiareScureFestival in Milano. Alla spina. Nero impenetrabile. Al naso il tostato, caffè, e sentori liquorosi.

Black coloured beer with a thin beige head. Aroma is cocoa and caramel. Flavor is dominated by heavy coffee, chocolate and caramel. Little to overwhelming coffee taste for me. Not easily drinkable.

Aroma is full of coffe and chocolates. Taste comes around and confirm the aroma, but also roasted notes with slight hints of berries as well. Smooth and easy to drink. Quite large body for the lower abv. Nice and pleasant. Scipio (1181) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2017
Pours an oily looking black with a thin beige head. An extremely potent aroma consists of heavy vanilla and coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, lesser licorice, and some hints of alcohol. The taste is pretty sweet, but not sweet enough to cover the alcohol flavors. The top impressions here remain the combination of vanilla and coffee, while underneath finds cocoa, chocolate, espresso, cherry, and some good roasted elements. Coffee and cocoa make up a long and healthy finish. This one is medium in body, with a creamy texture, and has carbonation that is almost flat. An excellent stout.
