from la Mise en Bière - cloudy orange beer with a little foam left; a fair fruity hoppiness (citrus, grapefruit) and some grassy notes below; full-bodied, light sweetness, fizzy and light sticky; light dry and bitter with lingering fruity hoppy notes (oranges dominate) sir__v (2634) - FRANCE - DEC 15, 2014

Tap at cml fontainas. Pours rather clear blonde, some cold haze. Small white head concisting of small bubbles. Seems to drop rather fast though, but the second half of the head seems pretty stable. Smell is rich, fresh lageryeast, fresh malts. Mil bitter touchm biscuits from the malts, a subtile clean spice from the hops. Mouthwatering amounts of clean lageryeast. Taste is very full, bitter, complex maltyness (biscuits and bread ) some hops spices. Very well made, rediculously balanced. Clear lageryeast profile. A touch of alcohol - but its also higher abv than usual so nothing off here. Mouthfeel is as to be expected, not super thin but also not creamy. Carbonation is spot on . Aftertaste has a lot of maltyness (biscuits and the crust of white bread ) I really, really like this lager. Must be one of the best lagers I ever had. Tastes really frssh too, so congrats to cml since thats part of their accomplishment. 77ships (11884) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 1, 2013
Sampled draft @ CML Italian Beer Festival 2013. Thx! to Sebletitje. Golden, patchy white head. Smell is thick yeast, very pilsner profile, more substantial malt-bill than usual, light grass, touch bitter,… Taste is thick pilsner malt profile, slightly sweet, lots of grains in a good way, bitter floral, herbal, grains,… Body is quite full for the style. Nice pilsner. When Chuck Norris drinks beer, the beer doesn’t get him drunk. The beer gets Chuck-Noirrised. This was a Budweiser before Chuck Norris got to it :)

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, white head. This is an odd beer. Aroma is pils, with added grapefruit pithiness. Taste follows the same theme. Easy drinking, but has oomph. Enjoyed this a good deal, despite the slight disjointedness. Which may, or may not, be a real word.
