3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Roasty aroma of dark chocolate and coffee with hints of coriander and vanilla; big beige head, dark colour; not so much complex taste which reminds the cappuccino. High carbonation (unusual for a stout) and a "dusty" texture. A pleasant stout though not the best I’ve ever tried. I’d prefer it less gassed.
12 oz. bottle. Nose is roasty and lactic. Flavor leans towards the milk stout to begin. Chocolate, too. Roast is noted but is not big at all. Some citrus and berry, too, that is pleasant and adds nice sweetness and flavors. Bitterness is hardly there. Sweet malty beers are kind of in my wheelhouse so I like this quite a lot. Bottle. It pours black with a medium beige head. The aroma is roasted with caramel and tobacco notes. Some hoppy and chocolate notes. Ashy and roasted flavor with light chocolate and tobacco notes. Bitter roasted finish. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2017
330ml bottle at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Dark brown, almost black, with a thin, pale mocha head. Sweet coffee and cream on the nose, with an after-scent burnt coffee beans. Immediate flavour hit of grassy coffee with lingering nicotine and coffee that’s just on the wrong side of bitterness. Slight synthetic plastic and strawberry, and unpleasant liquorice. pivnizub (10624) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2017
Bottiglia: Almost black with a ruby sheen, small and slowly collapsing tanned creamy head; mainly sweet nose of roasted malt and cacao-powder, traces of hops and leather underneath; moderate and drier bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering bitter-hoppy and toasty-caramelly finish. Not great, but pleasant and well drinkable... L_Lovecraft (609) - - NOV 23, 2016
Roasted notes, coffee, dark brown/black with a good tan head, medium body, law/medium carbonation, to dry for me not so creamy,a bit watery, again coffee and roasted...not bad but i don’t feel any fear.

33cl bottle at De Cervesia, Lucca on 23-Aug-2016. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and coffee beans. Medium body and soft/medium carbonation. Flavour of cocoa, coffee and malt. Lightly hopped and some bitterness, with a smooth milk chocolate finish. marcotetta (101) - - AUG 5, 2016
Dark brown in colour with shades of hazelnut. Fluffy coffee colour head. At the nose is soft, pleasant roasty notes are mixed with milk chocolate aromas. In mouth is medium-high bodied, smooth and rich but at same time drinkable, doesn’t tire your palate, thanks also at a light a slippery after taste. Recommended comperchris (142) - - JUL 28, 2016

Quite a mediocre stout, pleasant but nothing special. Has a light smooth palate and quite a bitter taste.rikstar (2604) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2016

Clear, brown, there are some small particles (hop?), almost no head. Aroma: coffee beans, cocoa, bread. Dry coffee taste, but there’s cloying sweet from lactose. Low bitterness, but finish is quite hoppy. Overall tiring.
