Bevuta al festival dei birrai eretici 2012 Bologna! Molto buona abbastanza sweet ma molto beverina! Ragnampiza (751) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - SEP 16, 2011
33 cl bottle from Domus Birrae. Served into an english half pint glass. Pours a dark brown, almost black, with rich blood red highlights, and a light beige consistent and fluffy head. Very good lacing. Not very strong aroma, some roasted malts and pretty much only cocoa beans. Pleasent sweetness in the mouth longside a light coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Soft carbonation, light to medium body, outstanding drinkability. Delicious!! 77ships (10771) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 4, 2012

Aromat orzecha i prazonego slonecznika. W smaku sporo dawki palonego slodu i kawowo-czekoladowego musu. Kolor czarno-brazowy, gesty i gleboki. Piana srednia ale bardzo szybko opada.

Stout perfetta nell’aspetto e nell’aroma profondo di cioccolato amaro. Un po’ deludente al primo impatto in bocca ma poi si apre per un gusto e retrogusto indimenticabile. CanIHave4Beers (4205) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - JUN 21, 2012
On draught at Moeder Lambic (Fontainas) mkel07 (6239) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 24, 2012
Pours basically black with a big head that leaves great lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty and chocolaty, some raw grain & mild coffee. Sweet smelling.
The flavor is nicely sweet & chocolaty, mildly bitter with some coffee, straightforward and exactly as the name implies.
Palate is nicely silky.
330ml bottle. There is a seriously deep tan head of thick foam. The beer itself is teak to black in colour with mildly bitter dark chocolate and roasted malt aromas. Sweet and bitter in the mouth at the same time, makes for a stout that is easy to drink and makes you want to o back for more.
