Dedicata a coloro che hanno paura delle birre scure. Dolce, complessa, ma beverina. Il lattosio e le fave di cacao la rendono morbida e profumata. Una birra per golosi...

Bottiglia: Almost black with a ruby sheen, small and slowly collapsing tanned creamy head; mainly sweet nose of roasted malt and cacao-powder, traces of hops and leather underneath; moderate and drier bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering bitter-hoppy and toasty-caramelly finish. Not great, but pleasant and well drinkable...

Roasted notes, coffee, dark brown/black with a good tan head, medium body, law/medium carbonation, to dry for me not so creamy,a bit watery, again coffee and roasted...not bad but i dont feel any fear.

Dark brown in colour with shades of hazelnut. Fluffy coffee colour head. At the nose is soft, pleasant roasty notes are mixed with milk chocolate aromas. In mouth is medium-high bodied, smooth and rich but at same time drinkable, doesnt tire your palate, thanks also at a light a slippery after taste. Recommended

Quite a mediocre stout, pleasant but nothing special. Has a light smooth palate and quite a bitter taste.

0,33l fles uit Valkenburg meegebracht. Donker bruin met een crme kraag. Geur is cacao, tarwe en soja. Smaak is cacao lactose en in de afdronk ook soja. Plakkende afdronk met een redelijk volle body.

Clear, brown, there are some small particles (hop?), almost no head. Aroma: coffee beans, cocoa, bread. Dry coffee taste, but theres cloying sweet from lactose. Low bitterness, but finish is quite hoppy. Overall tiring.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2016 Tap@Taphouse. Pours a very dark brown with small offwhite head. Aroma is sweet and roasted, slight coffee and a hint of lactose. Taste is a round sweet blend of light chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of lactose. A bit thin and less lactose for the style.
