(Bottle) Almost black colour with big, frothy, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of black rye bread, liquorice fudge, chocolate, orange peel and a touch of mint. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with black rye bread, coffee, treacle, chocolate, orange peel, liquorice, grapefruit and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, soft and rounded mouthfeel. A touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one. Marko (5865) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 8, 2017
Tap at Vrteška. Almost pitch black, almost no head. Orange and caramel in the aroma, peachy, fresh, solid altiness. Interesting taste... solid hoppiness, green fruit, herbal notes, dried figs, caramel. Interesting, drinkable, different. And some more descriptors I can’t decypher. What’s sure is that I definitely liked it. Plovmand (8534) - Grindsted, DENMARK - APR 9, 2017
