Clear golden colour with a rather big white fluffy head.
The aroma is aromatic. There’s fruits, citric acidity and tartness.
The flavour is grapefruity hops, moderate bitterness and tartness. Very tasty for a 3.7% brew. No bad at all.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, orange and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, citrus and orange finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 33 cl. bottle - shared with Kraddel. BBF 30/04/2014. Purchased @ CML. Murky orange with only some white bubbles for a head. Nose is full of mango & citrus hops, some passion fruit & cinnamon,.. Taste is grapefruit, mango, citrus hops, some yeast, spices, lightly floral bitter in the finish finish, candy sugar / fruit sugar touch, def. not dominantly sweet or anything... Body is pretty great for the ABV. Nice. KyotoLefty (10688) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 2, 2015
Bottle from Taniguchi. Nice hoppy nose, lemony, light grass, light, crackery malt. Deep, clear gold with a very tall, slightly airy head. Lots of effervescence. Light, crisp, biscuity malt, orange, lemon, a bit of tropical fruit. Very flavorful and full for the strength. Crisp and lemony, and the perky carbonation really lifts the hops flavors. Crisp bitter finish. I would drink this all the time if I could on tap. The first hoppy Brewfirst I have gotten in good condition bottled in Japan. Makes me happy.

Clear bright orange beer, big creamy solid white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity start, citrus, pineapple, bit grassy, some passion fruits, grains, bit of hay. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: grains, some hay, grassy bitterness, pretty dry. Not as fruity as you would have guessed from the scent, very English tasting profile, don’t know why this is categorized as an American Pale Ale instead. Aftertaste: citrus, little yeasty, very dry, grassy bitterness, slightly fruity. And WOW, it’s only now that I’m entering my review, that I see the low ABV. Very impressive!
4cl sample at Mikkeller Bangkok beer week.
Thick creamy white head. Citrus aroma. Hazy pale golden pour. Nice citrus bitterness. Good for the low abv.

Almost no head; hazy yellow-orange beer. Grapey USA hops, very fragrant, fruity and some resin, as well as valerian. Aromas turn out to be bit volatile, however. Hoppy, bitter, resiny. Lasting bitterness, but again the more complex flavours are fast gone. Some wet grain retronasal Obvious light body with its 3.7 % ABV. Lightly resiny-metallic aftertaste. OK, but I’ve had better contenders in the ultra lightweight category.
