ACHops (1582) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2013
On tap @ the Brewpub, served in a goblet. Pours ink black with thin oily mocha head. Aroma is vinous cocoa, licorice, nice barrel-aged notes. Taste is rich roasty malts with bitter notes of espresso and dark chocolate. Only slightly sweet, somewhat thin body for the style. Solid oaky flavor, though the bourbon doesn’t really show in the nose or body. ABV is high and noticable. Good effort from these guys.
